The gable-top carton filling and sealing machine is comprised of three main parts: box making, caps application, and filling and sealing tops. The equipment process flow involves the following steps:
Box making: carton pieces are purchased and manually fed into the machine. The cartons are then subjected to ultrasonic welding, press seal molding, and manual take out, resulting in an opened carton.
Caps application: an opened carton is taken and a cap is manually placed onto it. The carton is then subjected to ultrasonic welding, resulting in an opened carton with a cap.
Filling: an opened carton with a cap is obtained and the product is manually placed into it. Ultrasonic welding is then carried out to seal the carton, prior to it being delivered via a conveyor as a finished product.
The entire operation process of the filling machine is automatically controlled by a computer program, while the electrical appliances are automatically controlled. The entire process is controlled by the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) program, with only 2 people required to complete the process.
